Bacteriostatic Sodium Chloride for Injection of 0.9% is a sterile, nonpyrogenic, isotonic solution of sodium chloride (saline solution) for injection. Each milliliter (mL) contains sodium chloride 9 g and 0.9m% (9 mg/mL) benzoyl also added as bacteriostatic preservative. Bacteriostatic Sodium Chloride for Injection is chemically designated and may contain hydrochloric acid for pH adjustment. Hospira brand 10ml & 30ml Bacteriostatic Sodium Chloride for injection USP is a sterile, multiple dose vial.
